3 Little Kittens Sketch

Proper bios and coloured work coming soon, I just wanted to collect my thoughts on these 3 somewhere.

These three kids are triplets, and the children of Sylvia Silva (the fancy cat lady I designed ages ago and never coloured).    Yes, I realize that 3 non-identical triplets are preeeetty uncommon (like, extremely, nearly impossibly) but I figure that multiple births may be more common among Nekotamas than other human-like things? Maybe? Coz cats? IDK. These will be Gelea OCs eventually- I'm getting there.

TJ and his sisters, Elena and Terra are 9.

TJ is so insecure because the other two pick on him relentlessly aww but they love him heaps, really. He likes baseball and soccer but never really pushes himself hard because he has always been crippled with the fear of failing at anything. It is as if he thinks it would be better to never know how well he could do if he really tried than to try and find he isn't automatically the best at everything. That said, he is quite gifted at languages, has a pleasant, gentle manner and respects his elders. If his sisters start shit with him, he normally just dobs on them because they're psychos. The way he sees it, fighting back could inflame the situation and there're two of them and only one of him- NOT WORTH. He's too young to die. The girls' favourite way to abuse TJ is to set up pranks and traps, normally orchestrated by Terra and physically set by Ele, to scare the living daylights out of him. For example: once they got up early and released 20-odd millipedes into his bed. However, the girls' torture of choice for each-other is necessarily different because Elena hasn't the sense to freak out at jump-scares and Terra is too on-the-ball to be caught off-guard by Elena- well, either of the others, actually.

Elena is the oddball of the three and sticks out like a sore thumb. If there were a discernible 'runt' of the group it would be her. However, she is full of spunk and bad manners so her presence makes her feel a whole lot bigger than she looks. While the other two have silver blond hair and tails, her's is black and doesn't grow to be so luxuriously long. Basically, she looks adopted... not that there's anything wrong with that... but she's not. Elena takes after her father, while her siblings look like Mum. Elena has little understanding of boundaries, can be creepy when she likes you and is kinda violent. Her mother makes her dress neatly but she hates it and destroys most of her nice clothes. This horrifies her mother because they're a respected, high-class family so Sylvia is very concerned with appearances. The only compromise Elena and her mother can come to on the subject is that she never has to wear pink so long as she'll wear a skort rather than her brothers' shorts out in public. That is ridiculous, of course. Sylvia is kind of a nightmare that way- completely nuts. But there are worse ways for a mother to be nuts. Elena has the emotional intelligence of a child half her age and secretly worries that she, as the 'class clown' type, is destined to always be the family screw-up. She's weirdly good at playing darts, can do a back-flip (because she's weirdly unafraid of breaking her neck) and swears she once licked her elbow.

Terra hates everything. She is 9-going on 15, considers herself a princess and is an asshole to everyone. Secretly, she's got tragic Daddy issues and doesn't trust anyone because she had to grow up faster than her siblings and she envies their childlike ignorance. BUT WHO CARES? That's no reason to be a jerk! Of course, she thinks she has a fascinating dark and edgy past which justifies all of her douche-y behaviour. In the past she has often told her classmates that her family is so rich and has such important connections that she has the power to have kids decapitated if they don't do what she says. None of them reeeally believe her but nor are they game to challenge her, just in case- also, even if she doesn't have the power to order 'off with their heads', she's crazy enough to THINK she can... that's reason enough for most to try to keep her happy or at least stay out of her way. Elena is the only person who isn't afraid of Terra but it is probably because she isn't particularly wise... or smart in general. When Terra says something mean to Elena, she often responds by simply punching her in the face. Terra considers herself too proper to punch so normally their fights don't go much further- that said, they fight frequently, they just have bazillions of very short ones.
